Abbey Road Paving and Landscapes is a locally owned family business located in Victoria, BC. David Hinman, owner of Abbey Road, has over 15 years of training and work experience in landscape design, construction, masonry and stone paving. David works hands-on in all aspects of the business from design and planning to construction and general labor. He has always been passionate and meticulous about his work, striving to always keep quality standards high while paying the utmost attention to detail.

Customer service has always been the number one priority at Abbey Road, our reputation over the years has been built upon working hard, doing honest work and having exemplary customer service. In most cases, the longevity of a project depends on what’s beneath the finished surface, including- sub grade materials, foundation/structure, proper grading, drainage and water management. We are in an industry where there are a lot of opportunities to cut corners- Abbey Road does it right the first time going above and beyond typical industry standards. We always strive to find the right balance between cost, functionality, beauty and sustainability.

Many companies juggle multiple projects and stretch project timelines out to well beyond what was promised and/or showing up very late or for just a portion of the workday. Abbey Road is committed to working concurrent business days until the job is done. We understand that paving and landscape renovations can often be stressful and daunting. Abbey Road starts and finishes projects in a timely fashion- with efficiency and well-organized flow of work. We also believe in respecting the neighbors with regards traffic, clutter and noise. We do our best to keep the job tidy and safe at all times.

Unlike many companies who quote low to get the job and bill high at the end, or just make inexperienced mistakes in estimating, we keep to our written promise. Many years of hands on practical and logistical experience are essential in accurate job costing, and we take pride in this. If any major additions and/or changes in the scope of work during the course of the job will always be discussed -and options provided before proceeding.
